Our team has a diverse background that includes practice management, coding expertise, operations management, information systems, insurance claim processing, and compliance. Our organizational structure is based on a team approach. Each client is assigned a dedicated medical claims specialist along with a separate accounts receivable specialist to manage day-to-day activity.

Our History
Joanne Tobin Koch founded IMB in 1984 and grew it into a well-respected and thriving multispecialty medical billing business. As the sole owner and sales person, Joanne personally cultivated each and every client and remained closely involved with all clients even as the business grew. Staff was also extremely important to Joanne and she trained and guided her employees to be the best at their jobs. And she instilled in them her dedication to clients that is still.
Joanne lost her battle with cancer on February 19, 2015 after a courageous two year fight. During that time she never lost her compassion, zest for life, and love of family and friends. A testimonial to how well she ran IMB is how well IMB is doing today. With Debora Hill at the helm, IMB remains the strong, professional, thriving business that Joanne began in 1984.
